Clear Lake Panhellenic Organization
Dr. Crofcheck has supported the Clear Lake Panhellenic Organization for many years. She also supports the Crawford-Zbanek Scholarship Foundation which awards scholarships to senior girls and women returning to college for their education.
Dentistry from the Heart
Dentistry from the Heart (DFTH) is a national, registered non-profit organization that provides free dental work for people who need it. In the past eleven years, Dentistry from the Heart events have contributed more than $8 million in free dentistry and helped more than 76,000 patients across North America. Dr. Crofcheck and members of her team have donated their time through the years to local Dentistry from the Heart events and plan to host their own event in the future.
Local and Travel Service Work
Dr. Crofcheck and her children have traveled to foreign countries as missionaries, building
shelters and providing dental care.
Dr. Crofcheck also supports many local organizations such as Special Spaces (an organization dedicated to creating and decorating special bedrooms for terminally ill children), the Assistance League of Clear Lake, The Lunar Rendezvous Foundation, Bay Area Panhellenic Association, St. Clare Catholic Church and Lutheran South Academy. She and her husband have also participated in fundraising activities for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Cancer and The Girl Scouts of America foundation.
Dr. Crofcheck recently partnered with the Oral Cancer Foundation to help raise awareness in our community. Oral cancer is not a rare disease and is on the rise. According to statistics from the Oral Cancer Foundation, one person dies every hour of every day in the United States from this silent killer. Oral cancer screenings are a part of Dr. Crofcheck’s routine evaluation for all of her patients and during Oral Cancer Awareness month in April, she hosts free screenings on select days for the community. Friendswood Public Library
February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. With the support from Crest, Dr. Crofcheck and members of her team have helped promote the benefits of good oral health to children and their caregivers. Thank you Friendswood Public Library for having us over the years.
